Acts 23:1, says, “Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said, ‘My brothers, I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day.’” Can we say that we have fulfilled our duty to God? Can we apply that to our marriages? Father God, we fall short a lot. Help us to have the kind of character and integrity that can say that we have honored you and fulfilled what you asked of us.
“God shapes the world by prayer. The more prayer there is in the world, the better the world will be.”
“We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties.”
“We must begin to believe that God . . . has entrusted us with a force that can move the Heavenly world.”
“There is no other activity in life so important as that of prayer.”
“We must patiently, believingly, continue in prayer until we obtain an answer.”
“There has never been a spiritual awakening in any country or locality that did not begin in united prayer.”
